These are my opinions. If you wish to say something as well..just email me, I will add it.

August 28, 2010~~There was a news story today, about a service dog and owner who were kicked out of a store. I thought I would add my two cents to this, as I have a service dog. There are many stories of people not allowing service dogs to be allowed into a store because of the breed or because the dog smelled. No matter the reason, a service dog is allowed to go anywhere, according to the ADA (americans with disability act-1990). Services dogs serve a purpose for the owner and has a reason for being there and helping out the person. I wish that store owners would educate themselves and their employees. I read many articles, that Walmart kept getting sued for kicking out service dogs as well as their owners and now have made adjustments to allow these dogs to help their owners. I personally had no problems with Walmart. I wish that parents also educate their children about service dogs. I do get alot of children coming up to my dog and wanting to pet him. You can do this, if you ask the owner if it is alright to pet the dog. Parents need to educate the children when there is a service dog, they are working to help their owner and cannot be distracted by children petting them. All you need to do is simply ask the owner if it is alright to do.
